The NLBB Legacy and Youth Initiative is a transformative program dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of African American baseball players. Through this initiative, Negro League Baseball aims to inspire young athletes to embrace the spirit of the game, fostering qualities like discipline, teamwork, and respect. Additionally, the program proudly supports American Negroes in continuing their education through supporting them by providing scholarships and educational opportunities to aspiring talents, empowering them to pursue their dreams at any Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). By offering these opportunities, Negro League Baseball is committed to building a more inclusive future for the sport.

The NLBB Legacy and Youth Initiative plays a pivotal role in supporting the educational pursuits of American Negroes excelling in academics, Trade, or Athletics by finically backing their future through providing grants. Through partnerships with HBCUs, we facilitate avenues for higher education, ensuring scholars have access to quality learning opportunities.
In addition, we extend our commitment to the youth by offering a range of free clinics, mini-camps, and establishing a youth league in underserved communities. These initiatives are designed not only to nurture their athletic talents but also to instill values of professionalism, teamwork, and discipline.
